Carolyn Freeman was born and raised in Mobile, AL and comes from a family with deep roots in historic preservation, renovation, and development. In fact, Mobile borrowed many of its preservation practices from the nearby city of New Orleans. After beginning her career in New Orleans’ non-profit and public education fields, Carolyn chose to obtain her license as a Realtor® in 2013. Her family background and the unique aesthetics of local architecture lend itself well to working with clients looking for the old world charm that the city is renowned for. Carolyn specializes in historic homes and investment properties. She provides her clients with a deep knowledge and passion for the unique artistry present in neighborhoods throughout the city and the surrounding metropolitan area.
In addition to her real estate experience, Carolyn has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University and a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of New Orleans. With this background, she considers herself prepared for potential obstacles within any real estate transaction and the many emotions involved with making a significant financial decision. In her free time Carolyn enjoys gardening, attending the diverse array of music and cultural events in the city, and soaking up the sun and sand on the beaches along the Gulf Coast.
